Hoddle denies rifts at White Hart Lane

Tottenham manager Glenn Hoddle maintains he has a good working relationship with the White Hart Lane board and remains committed to the club.

Spurs failed to qualify for Europe last season and suffered a disappointing Worthington Cup final defeat to Blackburn in Cardiff.

Hoddle has already brought in Belgian Jonathan Blondel, Slovenia international Milenko Acimovic and former England midfielder Jamie Redknapp over the summer to bolster his squad for the new campaign.

And the former England manager insists he his happy with the way things are going.

Hoddle said: ‘‘There is no problem whatsoever between board and myself and we are working together on all aspects of the club’s development.’’
