Rooney to pledge future to Everton

Wayne Rooney will pledge his future to Everton by signing a three-year contract on his 17th birthday.

Rooney is on a scholarship with Everton and has already told David Moyes he will sign professional terms when he is eligible when he turns 17 in October.
