Reds rubbish Fadiga rumours

Senegal World Cup star Khalilou Fadiga is not on his way to Anfield, despite what has been reported.

Willie McKay, Fadiga's agent, had claimed Gerard Houllier was keen to snap up Fadiga from Auxerre before the start of the season.

The 27 year old is keen for a move, but the Reds insist he won't be playing his football at Anfield next season.

Club spokesman Ian Cotton told Liverpool's website: "Contrary to speculation in the press, Liverpool Football Club are not interested in signing this player."
