Newcastle’s injury-plagued striker Carl Cort has been ruled out of the club’s pre-season tour of Holland following another setback.

Newcastle’s injury-plagued striker Carl Cort has been ruled out of the club’s pre-season tour of Holland following another setback.

The striker cost £7m (€11m) when he joined the Magpies from Wimbledon in July 2000 but has seen his first two seasons on Tyneside decimated by injury.
