The Manchester United skipper got a loud cheer from Irish fans as he lined out at Tolka Park earlier this afternoon.

The Manchester side took on Shelbourne in a warm-up pre-season friendly.

However, despite the warm welcome from Irish fans, the former National side captain refused to make any statements.
