Olisadebe on brink of Blues move

Emmanuel Olisadebe has passed a medical at Birmingham, paving the way for him to sign a four-year contract with the Premiership newcomers.

The signing of the Nigeria-born Poland international is expected to be completed over the weekend.

The deal is set to cost the Blues a fee of £4m (€6.2m) subject to a successful work permit application.

Olisadebe, who scored one goal in three games at the World Cup in Japan and Korea, is still discussing personal terms with Blues boss Steve Bruce.
