Boro make improved offer to Juninho

Middlesbrough today upped the stakes in their bid to bring Brazilian Juninho back to Teesside by improving their offer to him.

The 29-year-old’s father and agent, Osvaldo Giroldo, indicated late last week that the Atletico Madrid star would not be returning to the Riverside Stadium after the two parties failed to agree personal terms.
