Damien Mori scored a golden goal six minutes into extra time as Australia scraped into the Oceania Nations Cup final with a 2-1 win over Tahiti.

The Socceroos scored 21 goals on their way to the semi-finals, but trailed 1-0 until the 88th minute when Joel Porter scored an equaliser to send the game into extra time.

Tahiti were lucky to take the lead in the 38th minute when Teva Zaveroni scored following a mix-up from a throw-in by the Australians.

New Zealand face Vanuatu in the other semi-final.
