The Daily Mail reports that chairman Ken Bates and manager Claudio Ranieri held an emergency meeting in Tuscany this week.

Chelsea's parent company, Chelsea Village, is reported to be £97m (€152m) in debt, and new managing director Trevor Birch is said to have told Ranieri he will not be allowed to replace Hasselbaink if he is sold.
