O'Donoghue to discuss Sky deal with FAI

Sports Minister John O'Donoghue is raise the concerns of soccer fans this afternoon when he meets with FAI officials.

The Minister is expected to particularly emphasize the effect that the €7.5m deal will have on young people, who will only be able to watch live home internationals on Sky Sports.

As only a minority of homes nationwide subscribe to the channel, this will effectively mean many under eighteens will not be able to watch Ireland play at Lansdowne Rd live on television.
