Charlton announce new numbers
Charlton have announced the club's new Premiership squad numbers.
Scott Parker takes over the number seven shirt, which was occupied by Chris Bart-Williams for the second half of last season.
Claus Jensen will have his name on the number ten jersey, left vacant after the retirement of Clive Mendonca. New Premier League rules insist clubs 'fill in' missing numbers, so Mark Fish (formerly 36) takes the number six left by the departure of Andy Todd, while new signing Paul Rachubka takes Sasa Ilic's old number 13.
New man Gary Rowett comes takes the number 15 shirt (formerly Eddie Youds), while Chris Bart-Williams moves to occupy the number 16 spot now Greg Shields has moved north of the border.
South African striker Shaun Bartlett (formerly 37) takes the number 17 shirt left empty by Parker's move up the rankings, while Mathias Svensson (ex-26) has Jensen's old number 20 jersey.
Elsewhere Lee Snodin, who was released at the end of last season, has now returned to the club on a non-contract basis.
