Wallwork joins West Brom

West Brom have completed the signing of Ronnie Wallwork on a Bosman free transfer from Manchester United.

The 24-year-old is the Baggies' first signing since they won promotion to the Premiership.

He joins the West Midlands club on a three-year contract.

Wallwork was part of the same Manchester United youth team that included David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes, but was unable to break into the first team on a regular basis.

He made nine starts for United and a further 18 as a substitute and has had loan spells at Carlisle, Stockport and Royal Antwerp.
