Michael Owen has given England the lead in the 23rd minute of their World Cup quarter-final against Brazil in Shizuoka

Owen latched onto an Emile Heskey pass hit over the top of the Brazilian defence and slotted the ball right-footed past goalkeeper Marcos from 15 yards out .
