The Republic of Ireland football manager is confident that his team will have a good game tomorrow in the World Cup knock-out round. Nonetheless, he is aware that the Spanish side are fully backed if necessary.

McCarthy signalled that all the players would be fit for the second round game earlier today. There had been worries that Staunton and Keane might have been injured for the clash. Nonetheless, even with all the players fit, McCarthy says the Spanish have a lot of options.
