Mick unconcerned with Cameroon-Germany game
Mick McCarthy is not going to concern himself with the Germany-Cameroon game when Ireland tussle with Saudi Arabia tomorrow in Yokohama.
While many in the stadium will have one ear cocked towards what is happening in Shizuoka, McCarthy is just going to concentrate on his own team.
"We can't affect that game, so there is no point in listening to it. We are just going to concentrate on
our own game. We know what we have to do against the Saudis."
With the country on a high following the German game, many people have already gone to credit unions to see about loans to make it to the more pundit-friendly career.
McCarthy said fans should see if the loan is there, but put a hold on coming out.
"I would say to the fans to check to see if the money is there, but wait until we qualify for the next
round. We aren't through yet.
"And the Saudis aren't going to lay down for us, there are going to come out, attacking and try to salvage some pride. They would like to put a feather in their cap by being the team who knocked the Irish out."
