McAteer rejects bust-up claims

Jason McAteer has rejected reports that his omission from the starting 11 against Germany led to a bust-up between himself and Mick Mccarthy.

A story circulated in some of the Sunday newspapers that McAteer was so upset about not regaining his place for the German game that he threatened to pack his bags and go home - reports that are untrue, according to the player.
