A controversial first-half between France and Uruguay has ended goalless.

Thierry Henry was sent off controversially by Mexican referee Ramos Rizo, and tempers flared further as Uruguay subjected the French to some tough tackling.

France need a positive result from the game after losing their first match to Senegal.
