Eriksson looks to Beckham

Sven-Goran Eriksson declared he is ready for the challenge of his first World Cup as he looked to captain David Beckham to provide England’s inspiration against Sweden tomorrow.

Eriksson accepts he is facing the biggest test of his 25-year managerial career in attempting to guide England out of their tough group and beyond.
