Reid just happy to be in Japan

Stephen Reid is happy to start on the bench on Saturday.

The Millwall midfielder has impressed people in training all week, but is happy just to be at the World Cup and hasn't thought about a starting place against Cameroon.

"Considering I should be in Barbados on holiday now, I can’t complain too much," said Reid.

"If Mark Kennedy was fit, he would be here instead of me now, so I am more than happy just to be in Japan.

"It looks as if Jason’s injury has cleared up so hopefully we will have a full strength squad out here

on Saturday.

"I know that realistically I am going to start on the bench but I believe I have something to offer if I can

get a run in one of the games and that is my aim now."
