Sousa faces anxious wait on thigh injury
Portugal's Paulo Sousa is to have more tests on the thigh injury sustained in the World Cup warm-up game against China.
But Antonio Oliveira's side have been boosted by the news that Armando Petit should be fit for the finals.
Petit injured his spine during the game against China.
Portugal's doctor, Henrique Jones, said tests showed no major damage to Petit, who was expected to join the team in their next training session.
Fellow midfielder Sousa is due to have a magnetic resonance test on Tuesday to evaluate the damage and decide on treatment, Jones said.
