Former Republic of Ireland captain Roy Keane has reportedly admitted that he was wrong to verbally attack Mick McCarthy.

Former Republic of Ireland captain Roy Keane has reportedly admitted that he was wrong to verbally attack Mick McCarthy.

Keane, who returned to his Manchester home at the weekend after being sacked from the Irish squad says he knows he will be blamed if the team fails to progress past the World Cup group stages.
