Injured Kilbane adds to Ireland's woes

Ireland's World Cup woes are going from bad to worse as first McAteer, and now Kevin Kilbane, have to be treated for injuries.

Kilbane picked up an ankle injury when he tackled Yuichi Komano and hobbled off after 61 minutes.

He was replaced by Quinn as the team was shuffled around, and Given also made way for Charlton’s Dean Kiely.

Duff was also given a rest when he was replaced after 68 minutes by David Connolly.

A minute later Kinsella crossed from the right and Keane headed narrowly wide at the far post.
