Eriksson awaiting Murphy news

England midfielder Danny Murphy was today due to learn his World Cup fate as he underwent a scan on his injured left foot.

Murphy, who suffered a freak training-ground accident, in which he landed awkwardly on his left foot earlier this week, is the fourth injured midfielder in the squad.
