Irish call urgent press conference

The Roy Keane saga looks set to take another twist with the news that the Irish management have announced an urgent press conference to take place at their Saipan training base later today.

Keane had earlier announced he was quitting international football at the end of the World Cup finals having criticised Ireland's preparations for the tournament.
