Casillas gets call after Canizares accident
Real Madrid's Iker Casillas is set to take over as Spain's first-choice keeper after a freak accident ruled Santiago Canizares out of the World Cup.
Canizares ruptured a tendon by dropping a bottle of scented water on his right foot in the Spanish team's hotel in Jerez.
Casillas is likely to get the nod ahead of Valladolid's Ricardo Lopez and Canizares' replacement, Pedro Contreras of Malaga.
"Bad luck like this is horrible for anyone and now the onus is everybody to make sure we don't miss him too much," Casillas told Marca.
