Bradford City put into administration
Bradford City have been placed into administration amid spiralling debts.
The Bantams announced last week that shares in the club's parent company, Bradford City Holdings Ltd, had been suspended.
They also revealed debts of £10m (€16m) thanks to the collapse of ITV Digital and their relegation from the Premiership in 2001.
Chairman Geoffrey Richmond said: "I fully realise that our supporters will understandably be concerned at the news that administrators have been appointed by the High Court today.
"On the positive side the administrators have confirmed that they will be seeking to achieve a speedy sale of the club."
Richmond has called a supporters' forum to answer questions about the latest developments.
