Rangers release Vidmar and Kanchelskis

Alex McLeish has released Andrei Kanchelskis and Tony Vidmar from Rangers.

Alex McLeish has released Andrei Kanchelskis and Tony Vidmar from Rangers.

The duo have been allowed to leave on a Bosman after being told they would not be offered new contracts.

Kanchelskis had been criticised for some of his displays since joining Rangers from Fiorentina in 1998.
