Woods signs for City
Shamrock Rovers winger Billy Woods has agreed a three-year deal with Cork City and will sign for the Leesiders on a Bosman free-transfer.
Woods rejected pleas from new Rovers manager Liam Buckley to stay in Dublin. Woods lives and works in Cork.
Woods is the latest pre-season signing made by Cork City manager Liam Murphy.
They signed former Coventry City and Mansfield Town centre-half John Andrews, Alan Reynolds from Waterford United.
City continue to chase David Warren of Wrexham.
