Tomorrow’s UEFA Cup final will go ahead in Rotterdam as planned, despite the assassination of Dutch far-right leader Pim Fortuyn in the town of Hilversum yesterday.

A UEFA spokesman said the body consulted with security officials today and decided afterwards that the game will go ahead in the Feyenoord Stadium as planned.
