At least five people have been injured in two car bombs which exploded in central Madrid this afternoon.

The Basque separatist group ETA claimed responsibility for the attacks.

The first bomb exploded just before 4pm near the Bernabeu Stadium, where Real Madrid are due to play a Champions League semi-final match tonight, while the second exploded about a mile away less than an hour later.
