Reports today claim Manchester City are chasing Liverpool midfielder Nicky Barmby.

The Liverpool midfielder is out of favour at Anfield and Kevin Keegan is keen to strengthen his side as they prepare for life in the Premiership.

Sunderland are also believed to be interested in the £4m (€6.4m) England international.
