Premiership: Hayles hit with three-match ban
Barry Hayles has been given a three-match ban by the Football Association after pleading guilty to a charge of violent conduct.
The suspension comes after an incident with West Ham's Hayden Foxe in November last year.
Foxe was cleared of a similar charge.
With Fulham ready to launch an appeal against the sentence, the FA ruled the suspension would not come into effect until April 29, to allow time for the hearing to take place.
That means Hayles will be available until that date, including this Sunday's FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea.
Unless he wins the appeal hearing, however, Hayles would miss any appearance in the final as well as the last Premiership match of the season.
