Soccer: Adams expected to be named Leicester manager

Leicester are expected to appoint Micky Adams as the club’s new manager at a press conference called for lunchtime today.

Adams will replace Dave Bassett, who will become the club’s director of football.

Adams was always tipped to replace Bassett after resigning as Brighton manager to move to Filbert Street last October. Leicester are facing imminent relegation from the Premiership and need to win all their remaining games to avoid the drop.
