Soccer: Houllier praises backroom staff

Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier today hosted his first media conference in nearly six months and praised his backroom staff for the job they have done.

With assistant manager Phil Thompson in charge, the club were second in the Barclaycard Premiership and through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
