Eircom League: Talks begin on play-off for title

Talks are underway behind the scenes to discuss the possibility of a two-leg play-off for the Eircom League title.

Negotiators for Saint Patrick’s Athletic and Shelbourne are currently entertaining the idea of a winner-takes-all home and away play-off for the championship should the points controversy fail to be resolved.
