Vladimir Smicer is willing to commit his future to Liverpool - but admits he could yet be lured away from Anfield.

Vladimir Smicer is willing to commit his future to Liverpool - but admits he could yet be lured away from Anfield.

Smicer is one of the stars in a strong Czech Republic side due to play Wales at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday.

He is on a high after scoring a spectacular last-gasp winner against Chelsea, but there is speculation Gerrard Houllier is willing to offload the striker, whose contract expires at the end of next season.

Liverpool have so far not offered Smicer a new contract, but he said: "I can see my future being with Liverpool because I am happy.

"This is my third season with the club and I'm really happy Liverpool are playing as well as they are at the moment.

"We've a chance of winning the league and we are in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

"Looking at my future when my contract expires at the end of next season, when you are playing well and the club is doing well, then everything is good.

"Liverpool might want to re-sign me, but then there might be offers from other teams, so you never know what could happen."
