SPL: Balde loses appeal against ban

Celtic defender Bobo Balde has lost his appeal against a two-match ban handed down following an incident involving Hibernian defender Paul Fenwick.

The Scottish Football Association today upheld its original decision to suspend the player for two matches.

Balde will now miss Celtic’s Scottish league game against Dundee United and the first fixture after the forthcoming league split.
