Arsenal FC were denied their first away victory of this season’s competition by a late equalizer from Bayer Leverkusen in a tight 1-1 draw at the BayArena stadium.
French international Robert Pires put Arsenal ahead goal after a fine exchange of passes with compatriot Sylvain Wiltord in the 56th minute.
