Eircom League: Hoops earn deserved draw
Bohemians 1 Shamrock Rovers 1
Substitute Stephen Grant earned Rovers a deserved draw with a late equaliser.
Grant headed home on 87 minutes after Bohs keeper Wayne Russell could only parry Pat Scully's effort from a Shane Robinson cross.
Bohs had the perfect start with the lead goal after just five minutes.
Kevin Hunt did the spade work to carve open the Rovers defence and set up Dave Morrison who turned superbly to drill a low shot into the net from 12 yards.
Dundalk 1 Galway United 1
Garry Haylock rescued a point for ten man Dundalk with a 77th minute equaliser.
Haylock stabbed the ball home after Robbie Forde could only touch a Cormac Malone effort onto the bar.
Dundalk were reduced to ten men on 55 minutes when defender Aaron Callaghan was sent off for a second bookable offecne following afoul on John Brennan.
A mistake by keeper John Connolly eight minutes late gifted Galway took the lead.
Connolly's clearance went straight to Colin Fortune who ran into the area and fired home.
