Soccer: McCarthy tells Robbie Keane to improve fitness

Ireland manager Mick McCarthy has told striker Robbie Keane to improve his fitness if he hopes to play a leading role in the team’s World Cup campaign.

Speaking after last night’s friendly victory over Russia, McCarthy was forced to admit that Keane was not fit enough to play a full game.
