Middlesbrough are chasing the signature of Ghana international Derek Boateng, according to reports.

Reports claim Boro have been keeping tabs on Panathinaikos' 18-year-old midfielder.

The reports says first-team coach Steve Round has been in Athens trying to tie up a deal for the £6m-rated (€9.84m) player.
