Soccer: Feeney's hopes dashed

Warren Feeney’s hopes of making his Northern Ireland debut against Poland on Wednesday have been dashed after he was ruled out of the friendly with a hamstring injury.

Irish boss Sammy McIlroy has been impressed by Feeney’s form with Bournemouth this season and had hoped to assess the former under-21 striker during this week’s trip to Cyprus.
