David Ginola has signed for Everton until the end of the season, according to his personal website.

The move ends the Frenchman’s unsettled 18-month spell at Aston Villa, during which he started just 19 games, made 22 substitute appearances and scored five goals.

35-year-old Ginola has also spent time with Newcastle and Tottenham.

He is the second player to move to Goodison Park today after Everton also signed Irish international Lee Carsley for €3m.
