Sunderland trio Niall Quinn, Jason McAteer and Kevin Kilbane have been named in the Republic of Ireland squad to face Russia at Lansdowne Road.

The Republic have lined up three further friendly matches prior to their departure for the World Cup finals - Denmark (March 27), USA (April 17) and Nigeria (May 16).
