FA Cup: Carragher won’t coin it

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher faces a three-match ban and club fine of up to two weeks’ wages after losing his head at Arsenal and throwing a coin back into the crowd.

To his credit, Carragher issued a public apology last night, admitting he ‘‘let down the club, the fans, my team-mates and myself’’ in acting in such an irresponsible manner.
