Fine Gael's spokesman on sport Jimmy Deenihan TD believes the GAA must open Croke Park to other sports for the joint Euro 2008 bid between the FAI and Scottish FA to be successful.

"Fine Gael believes that there is a growing body of opinion in the GAA in favour of making Croke Park available for a limited number of important games from other codes.
