Premiership: Real deny contact with Vieira

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has released a faxed letter from Real Madrid rubbishing rumours that they are actively engaged in a campaign to poach playmaker Patrick Vieira.

The Spanish club sent the letter to Highbury yesterday, stressing that they have not held talks with the French midfielder, or with his agents or advisors.
