Premiership: Man Utd bid to return to top of Premiership

Manchester United will hoping to go top of the Premiership again today after they take on Southampton at Saint Mary’s.

Ryan Giggs is ready to return for the Reds along with goalkeeper Fabien Barthez, who missed last Sunday's FA Cup win at Aston Villa with a slight ankle injury but he too is fit again.

Meanwhile, record signing Rory Delap is a major doubt for Southampton and Matthew Oakley, who replaced him in midweek, is expected to fill-in in midfield while defender Paul Williams will again play despite a recurring groin problem.
