Leeds United manager David O’Leary has accused the referee in the FA Cup tie between his team and Cardiff at the weekend of failing to protect the Leeds players.

O’Leary claimed Cardiff fans threw bottles and other objects at his players throughout the third-round tie, which Cardiff won 2-1.
