Wimbledon's Andreas Lund fears his career could be over as he struggles to beat a serious knee injury.

The Norwegian has not played for the London club since tearing ligaments in his right knee in July 2000.

He was forced to undergo surgery in a bid to correct the problem, but while he is now back in training in a bid to regain his fitness, he admits that the injury is not improving.

"The situation is exactly the same as it was last autumn," he said.

"I'm still working at the same tiring weight-training, trying to do all I can to build up the knee slowly but surely. I don't know if it's going to get better though."
